The Question of Integrity & One’s Soul

Do I disappoint you?” she asked.

Honestly, that question stumped me – got me tongue-tied for a while and I couldn’t believe she would think that. Now how did this came about? I would have let it be but because this question came from her, I feel the need to clarify the way I felt and how it came to that conclusion on both sides.

From a previous Event :

Would it have been too much to say that I hoped for something fair and justified when I went for the Grand Finals for the Ms Malaysia Universe 2007 night? It was a long traffic stretch to get to the hotel but I sat through it – one of the many charming traits of KL, for which I’m sure you’re all too familiar with.

When I stepped inside the Royal Ballroom, it was more than just “fair & justified” I wanted then – the stage setup was lousy and almost seemed as if it was done at the very last minute. If given the license to kill, I would have shot the set designer for a horrible job done. Read the rest of this entry »

Pageants & Title Awards A Farce…

What have I been up to these days? Supporting a friend in the pageant :)

This is not something that I do, following such events – usually only fashion shows and sports. I’ve to admit that I’m biased as well that since Marina’s in this, the Miss Malaysia Universe 2007 – I believe the rest of the contestants are hard pressed to keep up with what she is experienced in doing since she’s got training and the experience before. Following this event has made me realized something about the contestants – that if any of them know the judges from previous pageants, they seem to stand a better chance of winning by getting votes of recognition.
